Build the driver network behind a fast-growing same-day marketplace.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client is a fast-growing UK same-day logistics marketplace, matching businesses that need goods moved fast with a national network of owner-drivers and fleets. Its drivers are the product, and this brand new role owns the growth of that network, aiming for full density across every region and vehicle type within six months.
THE ROLE
You will own the whole driver journey: attracting new drivers and fleets, keeping them active and bringing lapsed drivers back. With no marketing team, you will run recruitment campaigns yourself, and be the driver's voice in the business, pushing platform fixes through with Tech. You will report to the Head of Central & Customer Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set the network strategy. Use density, acceptance time and missed revenue data to close the biggest regional and vehicle gaps first.
- Own the top of the funnel. Recruit drivers and fleets through social, paid campaigns, service stations and depots, owning the budget and cost per activated driver.
- Retain and reactivate. Step in before drivers churn and run structured campaigns for the lapsed driver pool.
- Drive engagement. Own the driver experience roadmap, using creative and gamified ideas to cut job acceptance times.
- Fix the platform. Find problems in driver-facing flows and co-own the Driver App, CRM and portal roadmaps.
ABOUT YOU
- A track record of growing a supply-side network at pace, such as drivers, couriers, riders or gig workers.
- Hands-on with recruitment marketing and campaigns, without relying on a marketing team.
- Data-led: you know what to ask for, can interpret it and act on it.
- Self-directed and persistent, using every tool available, including AI, to dig into problems and push fixes through.
- Same-day, courier or last-mile experience, people management or product and tech exposure are all a bonus.
WHAT IS ON OFFER
- £35,000-£45,000, permanent and full time, based in Manchester.
