Location: Bardon Distribution Centre, Coalville, Leicestershire, LE67 1FA

Salary: £12.21/hour

Start date: September 2026

Duration: 12 months, with opportunity for progression and permanent employment within the Distribution Centre

Working hours: Monday to Friday. First 12 weeks: 8:30 am‑5:00 pm. After the initial 3 months the shift patterns may rotate to an Early Shift (6:00 am‑2:30 pm) or a Late Shift (2:30 pm‑11:00 pm). No weekend work.

The Role

As a Warehouse Apprentice, you will work in our state‑of‑the‑art Distribution Centre, learning the fashion and retail industry. You’ll earn £12.21/hour and achieve an NVQ Level 2 qualification, with progression to NVQ Level 3 team leader.

How You Will Make a Difference
  • Safety – ensure safe working practices and contribute to site Health, Safety and Environmental targets.
  • Quality – ensure all goods meet correct quality, accurately counted, checked and processed.
  • Delivery & Service – follow standardised processes to meet key performance targets, delivering on time, in full for internal and external customers.
  • Inbound – receive, check and sort inbound cartons and pallets manually or automatically.
  • Picking – pick items for orders via automated goods‑to‑person stations or manually.
  • VAS & Packing – rework products to customer requirements at the automated station or manually.
  • Returns – accurately process returns, ensuring items are correctly accounted for.
  • Despatch – sort, load and dispatch orders to internal and external customers via automated system or manually.
  • Other duties as assigned within the job holder’s capabilities.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. Training takes place at our Bardon Distribution Centre Monday to Friday. On‑the‑job learning complemented by study time will help you gain your qualification. You’ll be supported by team leaders, mentors and the management team.

Skills For Success
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4 desirably, but not essential to start)
