Meridian business support is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver for an online retailer based near Tarporley on a temporary to permanent basis.

Hours and Pay

Working Monday to Friday (no weekends) 8am-5pm with an hourly rate of £12.30 - £12.60.

Full, Clean UK Driving License is essential.

Duties

Unloading of 40ft shipping containers (full of furniture) decanting into the warehouse
Picking furniture from the warehouse ready to load on 3.5 tonne vans
Load the vans, securing the furniture in place
Picking furniture for Amazon PRIME, DPD and their 3rd Party delivery partner
Labelling the furniture and loading onto their delivery partners' vans
General warehousing duties, defragging and creating space
Unloading of returning vehicles from delivery runs
Sorting returns
Light repairs to returned stock
Readying items for sale on eBay

Skills And Experience Required

Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or Yard Operative
Full Clean Driving License essential
Experience in driving a 3.5 tonne van preferable
Good knowledge of warehouse activities including picking, dispatch and return
