Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: M40, Newton Heath

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 16:55
• Friday: 08:30 – 15:25

As a Warehouse Operative you will be at the heart of the customer fulfilment process, ensuring customers receive the best and most efficient service. You will be working in a friendly team environment within a warehouse environment, picking, packing, sorting, and handling a variety of products; heavy lifting (20kg max manual handling).

• Receiving of goods
• Loading/unloading of goods (parcels or pallets) on or off lorries manually, or with Manual Handling Equipment (MHE)
• Distribution and replenishment of goods in the warehouse
• Picking of goods against fulfilment orders
• Packing orders to the required standard and specification
• Use forklift trucks (counterbalance and reach) for approximately 10–15% of working time
• Maintaining high levels of housekeeping in your work area
• Working with, and as part of a team
• Reporting errors and non-conformities
• Replenishment of work area

• Ability to work manually and handle physical tasks
• Ideally experience with forklift trucks (counterbalance and reach), though training is available
• Computer literate and confident using basic systems and email
• Attention to detail
