Warehouse Operator

Warehouse Operative Thrapston Monday to Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm Main Purpose of the role

DSV is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative whose role is to facilitate and ensure that inbound and outbound shipments are safely and accurately unloaded, received, checked, wrapped and put‑away, and to execute all other tasks related to warehouse operation in accordance with operational and health & safety procedures. Able to follow standard operating procedures and work in a methodical and tidy manner, possessing a comprehensive understanding of material/stock management techniques and inventory control procedures.

• Handle goods in vehicles/containers to ensure they are ready for replenishment
• Pick and pack products, including unboxing, labelling, re‑boxing and stacking on pallets
• Carry out tasks related to goods being returned, including unloading vehicles, sorting returns and putting stock away
• Ensure quality and accuracy whilst performing any operation
• Perform quality, audit and other checks on products or storage locations as required

• Previous experience within a warehouse environment
• Ability to challenge health & safety failures
• Use initiative to suggest improvements in procedures
• Ability to speak, read and write English and understand instructions
• Ability to manage own time
• Own transport
