PSV Glass & Glazing Ltd is an established and respected market leader supplying specialist glass solutions to the Bus, Coach and Rail industries across the UK and Ireland
. Due to continued growth, we’re excited to be recruiting 1 Warehouse Operative to join our busy Distribution Team.

Based from our depot in Middleton, Manchester
, you’ll play a vital role in picking and loading glass for deliveries and installation jobs along with general warehouse duties. You may occasionally be required to deliver glass to customers around the Manchester and surrounding areas. Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous but if you’re practical, reliable, and keen to learn, we’ll train you.

What You’ll Be Doing

With full support and training, you’ll learn how to:

• Safely pick and load glass for deliveries and installation jobs
• Safely undertake all warehouse duties including manual handling, stock movements and crate management
• Ensure that you load all glass safely onto the relevant vans, accurately completing job paperwork and documentation through a PDA
• Ensure all vehicle safety checks are carried out as per procedure
• Where applicable check emails and ensure most up to date requests are met
• Undertake all training as required by the company
• Any other additional duties as assigned by the supervisors, Managers, Senior Managers and Directors as required
• Represent PSV professionally when delivering to customer sites
• Support the wider team with additional tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• A full, valid manual driving licence (minimum 3 years’ driving experience)
• Aged 21 or over (Insurance requirement)
• A practical, hands‑on and methodical approach
• Positive attitude, good communication skills and a professional manner
• Comfortable working days and occasional weekends

No previous glass warehouse experience required although advantageous – Just the right attitude and a willingness to learn is required.

Pay & Benefits

• Competitive starting salary: £28,860 per annum – With the potential to increase your annual salary by up to 16% to £33,480 per annum at your first annual performance review (Subject to qualifying criteria (Including but not limited to; a positive can‑do attitude, your development through your first year in both ability and skill levels and maintaining an exceptional attendance level) in line with the Company’s attendance procedure).
  
  We actively recognise and reward exceptional performance. Team members who consistently exceed targets and demonstrate an outstanding initiative, may be eligible for higher than the initial 16% performance‑related pay review in your first year.
• Overtime paid at 150%
• 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays
  , increasing by one day each year with length of service, starting after your first full 3 years’ service, up to a maximum of 27 days per annum plus Bank Holidays.

Working Hours – 41.25hrs per week
