About the Role

To undertake any duties necessary for the efficient operation of the warehouse. Areas of operation are goods in, stock replenishment, order picking, order checking, order packing and order despatch.

Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure that every effort is made to complete the despatch of orders on or before the finishing time of the last shift.
  • Adhere to company procedures, with respect to timekeeping, safety and other aspects of staff attitude and disciplines essential for efficient operations in the warehouse.
  • To work in any area as directed by Line Managers or Team Leaders.
  • To undertake tasks in each area as directed by Line Managers or Team Leaders.
  • Undertake any additional duties that may be required from time to time and as directed by Team Leaders or Manager.
  • To use initiative in quiet periods to undertake other tasks.
  • To liaise with Team Leaders to maintain efficient operations.
  • To use knowledge of warehouse operations to guide others.
  • Any other duties as necessary for the role.
  • Basic Numeracy skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and service standards
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety guidelines and ability to follow company procedures
  • Must be proactive and able to use own initiative and work as part of a team
  • Flt licence is desirable

The working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week. However, applicants must be able to work shifts between 9.00 and 19:00, with flexibility to undertake paid overtime outside of these hours as necessary.
