an exciting opportunity has arisen for a warehouse operative to join an established, forward thinking fabric's supplier. The organisation prides itself on having strong community and social values.

• picking, packing and dispatch of orders – goods to be packaged / reworked to minimise space used and re – utilise packaging materials where possible
• goods receipt – goods to be checked off against delivery note and verified. Delivery note to be handed in to warehouse office – orders released accordingly.
• reach truck operation and upkeep – sensible use of truck– regular maintenance and checks to be carried out to ensure economical running.
• warehouse upkeep and maintenance – space consolidation to ensure maximum cost benefit per square foot of warehouse space. General cleanliness, reuse of materials and pallets etc.
• inter-warehouse transfers – maximise vehicle loads and ensure full stock levels at both locations where necessary
• local deliveries where necessary – within local area for small consignments to minimise carbon footprint
