Pickles Recruitment is recruiting a Warehouse Administrator for a well-established FMCG warehouse and distribution company in Manchester.

This is a varied, hands-on role split approximately 60% warehouse office administration and 40% warehouse picking. You’ll be joining a team where everyone gets stuck in, helping keep stock, paperwork and orders moving smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

Managing a high volume of SKU codes and maintaining accurate product and stock records.

Using the warehouse management system to process orders and update stock information.

Coordinating deliveries, collections and courier bookings.

Liaising with couriers, freight providers and the warehouse team to resolve queries and delays.

Supporting export administration and freight arrangements, ensuring paperwork is accurate and complete.

Using Excel to maintain spreadsheets, track orders and organise information.

Picking orders accurately and supporting day-to-day warehouse duties.

Spotting issues, using your initiative and helping improve how things are done.

What we’re looking for

Experience in warehouse administration, logistics or distribution, ideally within FMCG.

Confidence handling high volumes of SKU codes and detailed stock information.

Strong PC skills, good Excel ability and experience using warehouse management systems.

Experience dealing with deliveries, couriers, export administration and freight.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

A driven, proactive approach—you notice what needs doing and get on with it.

A willingness to help across both the office and warehouse.

Someone looking for a long-term opportunity, with the ambition to grow with the company.

What’s in it for you?

£30,000–£35,000 annual salary.

26 days’ holiday plus bank holidays.

An additional day off for your birthday.

Christmas shutdown.

Free parking.

A midday finish every Friday.
