FEB Logistics is looking for an organised, proactive Warehouse Supervisor to take ownership of the day-to-day performance of our Salford warehouse. You will lead and develop a team that keeps goods moving safely, accurately and efficiently.
You will have the autonomy to improve processes and raise operational standards, and your work will make a visible difference across the business. It is also a chance to build your leadership skills while making sure customer and business requirements are met.
What You’ll Be Doing- Supervising daily warehouse operations and activities
- Leading, motivating and supporting a team of warehouse operatives
- Monitoring productivity and making sure operational targets are met
- Coordinating the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods
- Keeping stock handling accurate and inventory records up to date
- Carrying out regular stock checks and investigating discrepancies
- Making sure health and safety regulations and company procedures are followed
- Assisting with workforce planning, scheduling and training
- Finding ways to improve warehouse processes and efficiency
- Reporting operational performance and issues to management
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisor or team leader role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience of warehouse management systems and stock control processes
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work effectively in a busy warehouse
- A good understanding of health and safety requirements in a warehouse setting
- Knowledge of warehouse KPIs and performance management
- An accredited forklift training licence is desirable but not required
