The rehabilitation team at Good Samaritan seeks to hire a Physical Therapist Assistant to treat long-term care residents and short-term rehab patients with conditions like neurological, orthopedic, and balance/falls/gait issues. The position offers a flexible schedule with no nights or weekends.
Responsibilities: Assist patients with therapy activities and exercises under the supervision of a physical therapist, monitor and record therapy services, modify therapeutic activities as needed, and document patient responses and outcomes. Focus may include post-acute, long-term care, and home health care environments.
Qualifications: Graduate from an APTA-approved program, licensed as a PTA in the state of practice, BLS certification within six months, and a valid driver's license if applicable.
