Salary Range: $37.50 - $62.00

• Plan, organize and deliver physical therapy programs that help clients/patients/residents recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities.
• Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.
• Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.
• Document client/patient/resident information for evaluation; establish therapeutic plans and modify them when necessary.
• Educate clients/patients/residents and their families about treatment plans/schedules and home exercises.
• Apply age-appropriate treatments and evaluations; incorporate current research into daily treatment.
• Treat individuals of all ages with varying diagnoses; maintain documentation per department guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate and adhere to clinical practice guidelines of professional organizations; collaborate with other staff as needed.
• Be flexible with variable work schedules/assignments and participate in department and organization activities.
• May supervise assistants, aides, and students; provide ongoing education and training to peers as determined by leadership.
• Perform other related duties as requested by the manager.
• May focus on post-acute, long-term care and home health environments based on facility needs and assigned locations.

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
• When applicable, may require a valid driver's license.
• Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
