What You'll Do
  • Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, mobility, and personal care.
  • Support residents with medications, exercise, and wellness routines as trained.
  • Encourage independence, dignity, and choice while providing person-centered care.
  • Help with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, welcoming home.
  • Accompany residents on outings, appointments, shopping trips, and recreational activities.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' health or behavior to nursing staff.
  • Complete documentation accurately and follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred

  • Experience working with older adults, individuals with brain injuries, or individuals with disabilities.
  • Direct support or healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Certificates, Licenses, and Requirements

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.
  • Nurse Aide certification, if required by assignment.
  • Medication Assistant 1 certification, if required by assignment.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record if operating agency vehicles.
