Licensed Practical Nurse – Sunset – Full Time Days

Good Samaritan’s GSS ND Mandan Sunset facility is seeking an experienced LPN to provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in a long‑term care setting.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers comprehensive nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing assessments, administering medications and treatments, and documenting resident interactions and outcomes.
• Recognizing and responding to emergent situations.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary care team members and maintaining confidential patient information.
• Providing counseling and education to residents, families, and advocates regarding prevention and treatment plans.
• Contributing to the resident care plan and maintaining competency in nursing practice.

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program;
  Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Graduation from a Board‑approved AASPN program with IV therapy curriculum or completion of an approved IV Therapy course if IV therapy is required.
• Minimum of 400 hours of LPN experience in a clinical setting or supervised clinical experience during a pre‑licensure program.
• Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse license with the State Nursing Board; multi‑state licensure privileges accepted.
• Completion of required annual Continuing Education Units (CEU) and department‑specific competency training.
