Kia Service Technician

The Kia Service Technician at Eide Kia Mandan is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Kia vehicles to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, hourly position located in Mandan, North Dakota. As an individual contributor, the successful candidate will work closely with the Service Department team to provide exceptional service to our customers. No experience necessary.

• Perform scheduled maintenance and basic repairs on Kia vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and equipment
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair options and provide accurate repair estimates
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately, maintaining a high level of productivity while ensuring quality work
• Document all repairs and services performed using our electronic systems
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and guidelines
• Continually update knowledge of Kia vehicles, technology, and repair procedures through training and workshops
• Assist in training and guiding apprentice technicians when needed
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment, as well as electronic systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
