Route Sales
Step into the driver’s seat of customer happiness
As a Coffee Service Route Account Representative with Farmer Brothers, you’ll be the trusted pro who keeps our customers stocked, supported, and smiling. You’ll float where you’re needed most, providing route relief, delivering coffee, tea, and related products, and making sure every beverage station looks great and performs to standard.
What a day can look like
Your morning kicks off by reviewing your assigned route relief schedule and loading your truck. On the road, you replenish and rotate product, check equipment, and complete at least one CQC (Cup Quality Check) to ensure quality. You build rapport, listen actively, and jump on opportunities to grow Revenue per Stop through closing distribution gaps on core items, executing seasonal and LTO (limited-time offer) promotions, applying pricing actions, and ensuring the beverage station is set to standard.
If an issue pops up, you quickly loop in the ASM (Area Sales Manager) and make sure the customer is taken care of. Throughout the day, you manage invoices, inventory, and collections for the stops you cover, and when time allows you make sales calls and follow the Farmer Brothers customer call process (The Farmer Brothers Way to Sell) to strengthen satisfaction and loyalty.
You wrap up by communicating route insights to the ASM and may assist with warehouse tasks or inventory cycle counts as needed.
