The Kids Project Coordinator supports the vision and initiatives of Church of the King Kids Ministry by coordinating projects, managing digital content, and ensuring ministry resources and platforms remain current, engaging, and aligned with ministry goals.

This position combines strong organizational and project management skills with creativity and hands-on content development. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while supporting an excellent Kids Ministry experience for children and families across all campuses.

Coordinate Kids Ministry projects from planning through completion, ensuring timelines, deadlines, and deliverables are met.

Manage and maintain Kids Ministry content across digital platforms, ensuring information is accurate, relevant, and up to date.

Create and coordinate engaging social media content highlighting ministry events, resources, activities, and stories.

Capture photos and videos during services, events, and Kids Ministry activities in accordance with church policies.

Perform routine platform updates, including uploading graphics, videos, resources, and other ministry information.

Collaborate with Kids Ministry leaders to establish project timelines, monitor progress, and identify potential delays.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure projects and initiatives are completed efficiently.

Maintain consistency in Kids Ministry branding, messaging, and content in alignment with Church of the King standards.

Visit a campus weekly to observe the Kids Ministry experience, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to leadership.

Track outstanding projects, communicate progress, and follow up with appropriate team members to ensure completion.

Support special events, campaigns, launches, and other Kids Ministry initiatives.

Perform other ministry-related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency or familiarity with social media and digital content platforms.

Experience or interest in photography, videography, and basic video editing.

Strong attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through.

Creative mindset with the ability to identify engaging content opportunities.

Ability to collaborate effectively with ministry leaders, staff, and volunteers.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new software, platforms, and technology.

Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, flexibility, and a servant-hearted attitude.
