Overview

Your primary role involves building relationships with our members, offering personalized solutions, and identifying opportunities to help them achieve financial success. You will work in a sales‑driven environment and collaborate with team members who enjoy what they do.

SCOPE

As a dedicated member of the OnPath FCU team, the role performs a variety of tasks that provide cost‑effective financial services for the benefit of our members.

Primary Functions
  • Travels to any branch within the assigned region
  • Greets and assists every member with a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
  • Accurately processes deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other transactions
  • Researches, troubleshoots, and resolves member and internal inquiries regarding policies, practices, and products
  • Conducts consultative conversations with members to cross‑sell opportunities such as checking accounts, personal and auto loans, credit cards, refinances, debt consolidation loans
  • Recommends appropriate mortgage and commercial loans to the appropriate departments
  • Communicates credit union products and services and meets referral and sales goals
  • Interprets credit reports to offer the best solutions to members
  • Efficiently processes loan documents
  • Assists with branch opening and closing procedures, prepares currency, verifies cash drawers, and maintains a clean work environment
  • Participates in training sessions and team meetings to stay informed about policies and procedures
  • Adheres to all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; follows security procedures; reports suspicious activity
  • Completes all other duties as assigned
Experience
  • Up to 1 year of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience
  • Experience in a sales and/or customer service environment
Education/Certifications
  • High school education or GED
Interpersonal Skills
  • Professional courtesy and tact are essential; work involves personal contact with customers and others
Other Skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, statutes, regulations, codes, and standards related to area of responsibility
  • Proficiency with database software and the MS Office suite
