Commercial Construction Project Manager

Full-time, Mid-Senior Level

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for Donahue Favret Contractors, Inc. (DFC) with 5+ years of Commercial Construction experience. The ideal candidate possesses strong people skills and acts as a liaison to the subcontractor community. You should have the ability to look beyond basic information, ask the right questions, and oversee, manage, and monitor every aspect of the project and the personnel involved, from project turnover from estimating until the one-year warranty expires.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the PMA, Superintendent, project staff, Owner, design team, and other stakeholders.
• Advocate for customers, keeping them informed and empowered throughout the project.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex issues, ensuring high quality, timely completion, and budget adherence.

Qualifications:

• Proven skills in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related fields through experience, apprenticeships, military service, or a Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience supervising increasingly complex construction projects, demonstrating growth and leadership.
• Advanced knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and blueprint reading.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Training in business administration and accounting is a plus.
• Experience with Medical Facilities, including Hospitals and Clinics, both ground-up and remodel, is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with Primavera, Autodesk Plan Grid, and Viewpoint is preferred.
