Position: LPN-3 WAE (PRN) - RESIDENTIAL FACILITY

Join our team at Florida Parishes Human Services Authority as a part-time LPN and provide direct nursing care to clients in our inpatient, 24-hour residential facility. This facility is an ASAM Level III.
5 Adult Clinically Managed High Intensity, residential substance use treatment program, located in Mandeville, Louisiana.

Possession of a current Louisiana Practical Nurse license, a temporary permit, or a multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state plus two years of experience as a licensed practical nurse. . Job Duties:

• Provide direct nursing care and standard nursing services to clients receiving substance use treatment in a 24-hour residential facility;
• Perform continuous observation of clients;
• Administer prescribed medications;
• Maintain documentation in the electronic health record (EHR);
• Administer screenings, tests, and other required labs;
• Conduct assessments and screens for newly admitted clients.
• Driving and alternating shift work may be required and the chosen applicant will be required to possess (or obtain) a Chauffeur's/Class D driver's license if hired.

Position-Specific Details : Appointment Type:This position is for a part-time WAE (When Actually Employed) position only and is not to exceed 1,245 hours in a 12-month period.
Career Progression :
This position will be filled as a LPN 3.
Compensation :
Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant's level of experience. Below is a list of the pay range for the position:

• Licensed Practical Nurse 3 (WAE): $22.00/hour minimum - $29.13/hour maximum
