About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable HVAC Installer / Servicer to join our maintenance and facilities team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure efficient and safe operation across all facilities. This role is essential in maintaining comfort, energy efficiency, and air quality in both residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ventilation units, and related controls.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify system issues and recommend cost‑effective repairs or replacements.
• Calibrate and test system performance to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and energy standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Install ductwork, thermostats, and system components per blueprints and design specifications.
• Recharge refrigerants and ensure compliance with EPA regulations.
• Maintain detailed service reports, including parts used, labor time, and recommendations.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an HVAC trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and service.
• EPA Section 608 certification required.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient with HVAC diagnostic tools, gauges, and hand/power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in confined spaces or at heights.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with both commercial and residential HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency principles and green technologies.
• Familiarity with building automation and smart thermostat systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
