A South Bay real estate company is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This Accounting Manager position is a growth-driven role where you'll work directly with senior leadership. The team is seeking someone who can lead areas of the close, bring strong accounting fundamentals, and elevate the function with curiosity and creativity. To be successful in this role, the Accounting Manager will need to have strong communication, intellectual agility, and the ability to work independently.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–7+ years of accounting experience
• Public accounting background preferred
• CPA preferred (in progress also would be considered)
• Real estate industry experience preferred
• -Advanced Microsoft Excel

• Own day-to-day accounting and monthly close for corporate entities and properties
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Assist with consolidation and intercompany
• Support Controllers and CFO with internal reporting
• Participate in process improvement and systems implementation
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues
• Assist with tax filings, including coordinating with external tax advisors
• Help oversee and mentor Senior and Staff Accountants
• Partner with external auditors to support the annual audit
