Journey of Faith is a Christian church committed to reaching the South Bay for Christ through authentic community, vibrant worship, and practical teaching. The church serves individuals and families across Manhattan Beach and the surrounding South Bay area, with a focus on helping people grow in their faith and live it out daily. Journey of Faith emphasizes outreach, discipleship, and support for all generations, including a strong emphasis on youth and families.

The Youth Pastor is a full-time, on-site role based in Manhattan Beach, CA, responsible for leading and overseeing ministry to middle and high school students. Each day involves planning and leading youth gatherings, Bible studies, and small groups that encourage spiritual growth and community. The Youth Pastor will build relationships with students and their families, provide pastoral care, and mentor youth in Christian living and leadership.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating volunteers, collaborating with church staff on events and outreach, developing age-appropriate teaching materials, and participating in regular worship services and church-wide activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Youth Ministry and Discipleship, with experience leading students in faith development and community-building.
- Candidates should possess skills in Bible Study and Biblical Studies, including the ability to prepare and teach Scripture-centered lessons for young people.
- Candidates should possess pastoral skills, including providing care, guidance, and support to youth and their families.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills, with the ability to recruit, train, and encourage volunteers.
- Commitment to personal Christian faith and alignment with the mission and values of Journey of Faith.
- Relevant education or training in theology, ministry, or a related field; prior experience in a church or youth ministry setting is highly
