My client, a well-respected civil litigation firm based in Manhattan Beach, is looking for an Associate Attorney.
Qualifications- 2-7 years of litigation experience
- Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities
- Solid organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate well, show initiative, and thrive in a demanding environment
- Demonstrated interest in and commitment to working in a litigation setting
- Prior coursework, training, or work experience in liability, consumer litigation, products liability, or employment law is a plus
- Trial experience is a desired attribute
- Legal research and factual investigation
- Drafting legal memoranda and all varieties of pleadings and motions
- Coordinating with expert witnesses and consultants
- Drafting strategic offensive discovery and responses to defensive discovery
- Assisting with the preparation for depositions
- Managing all phases of document review and production
- Preparing for and trying cases
