Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and connect with every customer every time by being a brand ambassador with positivity and enthusiasm.
• Consistently provide quality beverages and food.
• Have a clear knowledge of all inventory items and accurately communicate product information to customers, responding to questions, orders, and concerns.
• Maintain a clean environment, including cleaning of the back of house, bar areas, and patios, to contribute to a healthy environment for customers and employees.
• Contribute to store profitability by following Verve’s cash handling and cash register protocols.
• Participate in the training and development of new employees.
• Work at different stations in the café as needed and assigned.
• Follow all Verve policies, procedures, and processes.
• Have a passion for coffee!

• Retail and/or customer service experience is preferred and coffee experience is a plus.
• Must maintain a current state‑issued Food Handler Card.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to multi‑task and deal with ambiguity in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbally.
• Inclusive, respectful and professional, and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Hours can be part‑time/full‑time based on availability, including weekends and holidays; hours can fluctuate due to the needs of the business.
