Automotive Service Advisor

Compensation: $45,000 - $95,000 per year, including performance-based commission

• Customer Liaison:
  Greet customers, listen to vehicle concerns, and document service requests accurately.
• Service Estimates:
  Prepare detailed repair estimates, explaining the necessity of services and maintenance based on manufacturer requirements.
• Workflow Management:
  Coordinate with technicians to monitor repair progress and provide timely updates to customers.
• Sales & Retention:
  Advise customers on preventive maintenance and additional needed repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Administrative Excellence:
  Manage repair orders (ROs), process payments, and verify warranty or service contract coverage.

• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to translate technical mechanical terms into easy-to-understand information for customers.
• Technical Aptitude:
  Basic understanding of automotive systems; [e.g., ASE Certification] is a major plus.
• Software Proficiency:
  Experience with dealership management systems (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, or VAST).
• Reliability: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
