Pay: $39.56/hr. plus fringe benefit of $12.38/hr.

Hours:

Monday to Friday – Time TBD

On-Site Inspection & Monitoring
Observe and document daily construction activities.
Verify that materials, workmanship, and methods comply with contract documents.
Ensure the contractor follows approved plans, specifications, and safety protocols.

Quality Assurance
Monitor construction quality and workmanship.
Identify defects or deviations and report them to supervisors or project managers.
Witness and document testing of materials (e.g., soil compaction, concrete strength).

Communication & Reporting
Act as a liaison between the contractor, project manager, engineers, and owner/client.
Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and photo documentation.
Attend progress meetings and relay on-site conditions to the project team.

Contract Compliance
Ensure contractors follow contract terms and approved change orders.
Assist in reviewing and verifying contractor pay applications and schedules.
Monitor progress against milestones and deadlines.

Safety Oversight
Ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety standards.
Report and document safety violations or incidents.
