• Support the Design & Estimating teams in developing construction documents and design selections that translate client vision into a complete, actionable scope for production.
• Create imaginative and practical design solutions.
• Assist Lead Designers in design process activities.
• Drafter plan sets to complete all construction documentation.
• Visit job sites to resolve design issues as needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of design trends, building practices and technical applications including design software.
• Secure finishes, fixtures, materials, appliances, and other items unique to each job and assist the client in shopping at showrooms.
• Research and specify items and materials as necessary to meet each unique project's needs.
• Coordinate with Lead Designers for fine tuning of the design.
• Participate in marketing activities like marketing videos, photoshoots, home shows and assist with setup and takedown of marketing events.
• Participate in weekly design review meetings.
• Assist in maintaining the showroom for cleanliness and appropriate stock levels of supplies and refreshments.
• Provide phone backup, marketing assistance and participate as a member of the team.

• Formal design training and minimum one year of experience designing residential remodels, creating floor plans, and drawing elevations and perspectives.
• Creative imagination and practical understanding of construction.
• Hand‑drawing skills and good design sense for space planning and finishes selections.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and web‑based applications.
• Strong knowledge of proper English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and word usage.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2020 3D drafting and preferably Chief Architect.
• Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with managers, peers, clients, and other employees.
• Physical ability: lift 35 lbs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, and lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. Must be able to work at a computer desk area for extended periods.

$45,000 – $50,000 per year
