We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Monitor to join our team. The Student Support Monitor is responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This role involves implementing Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies, mentoring students on appropriate behavior, fostering a growth mindset, and maintaining a secure campus. The Student Support Monitor will work closely with administrators, School Resource Officers, and the broader school community to ensure the safety and well-being of all.
Salary- $16 - $17.50/hour
- School operational hours.
- Supervision before and after school as directed.
- Vision and dental insurance are available for employees working 17.5 hours/week.

- Greets and welcomes students, faculty, staff, and visitors to school, and engages students through a daily check‑in / check‑out routine.
- Works closely with school administration and supporting staff (including RCPD Resource Officers) to contribute to Response to Intervention Strategies (RTI).
- Engages in mentoring and supporting appropriate behavior by teaching replacement behaviors.
- Contributes to student discussions on topics such as growth mindset and character development.
- Re‑engages disconnected students through restorative practice, behavior‑specific praise, and behavior modeling.
- Executes strategies for recognizing and working with students experiencing crisis and trauma.
- Promotes the foundational practice of Safe and Civil Schools (CHAMPS).
- Helps administrators identify potential vandalism, theft, and disruptions by students or non‑students.
- Supervises the arrival and departure of USD 383 buses.
- Routinely checks all entrances to maintain campus security.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the principal.
- The student support monitor shall always conduct himself/herself in a manner that reflects positively on the Manhattan‑Ogden School District.
- While performing duties, the student support monitor shall maintain a courteous and impartial attitude in dealings with students, faculty, staff, and the general public.

- Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation of classified personnel.
- FLSA status:
Non‑Exempt.
- Entry level.
