OverviewWe are looking for people who enjoy being part of a school community and can implement educational programs for students with special needs. Your responsibilities will include reinforcing learning for students, providing positive behavior support, and implementing lesson plans to help students with disabilities. Our district is looking for creative problem-solvers who are good teammates and enjoy working with students from diverse backgrounds.
We strive to work as a team to help students meet their full potential through dynamic educational programs. Full-time and part-time job opportunities are available.
Various school locations throughout Manhattan and Ogden.
Responsibilities- Reinforce learning for students and provide positive behavior support.
- Implement lesson plans to help students with disabilities.
- Assist with classroom, clerical, lunch/recess, and personal needs duties.
- Attend in-service training and appropriately deal with confidentiality issues.
- 48 college hours or successfully passing the Master Teacher Para Assessment Test.
- CPR and First Aid certificates are highly recommended.
- All USD 383 employees must pass a background check.
$11.15/hour. This position is not eligible for benefits.
Hours Per DayFlexible hours depending on availability. Average workday = 7.5 hours.
Reports ToTeacher/Case Manager/Principal.
