Job Brief- We are looking for people who enjoy being part of a school community and can implement educational programs for students with special needs. Responsibilities include reinforcing learning, providing positive behavior support, and implementing lesson plans for students with disabilities. We seek creative problem-solvers, good teammates, and those who enjoy working with diverse backgrounds. This is an excellent opportunity for retirees, veterans, students, and those needing flexible schedules.
Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Various school locations throughout Manhattan and Ogden.
Salary- $11.50 - $14.50/hour.
- Additional $1/hour for district-level program assignments.
- Hours may vary depending on the building assignment.
- Flexible hours based on availability.
- Average workday = 7.5 hours.
- Positions available during the school year.
- Options for summer employment.
- New employees undergo a 45-day introductory period post-onboarding, after which benefits and leave are available.

- Support students’ Individual Education Plans, including data collection and observations.
- Assist or carry out educational activities designed by educators.
- Independently instruct students across all subjects.
- Work with individual students, small groups, or the whole class at the educator’s discretion.
- Prepare materials for students.
- Perform lunch, recess, bus duties, and supervise students in various settings.
- Support students with personal care needs.
- Attend in-service training (minimum of 20 hours annually).
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy of students, parents, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by educators.
Reports To: Case Manager/Principal.
Performance will be evaluated annually per district policies.
