Multi-Modality Radiologic Technologist (Flint Hills) - Radiology Diag - FT - Day

Full-time radiology technologist responsible for advanced imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing disease and injuries.

• Shift: 12-hour day shift
• Hours per week: 36
• Position status: Full time

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Determine exposure factors and adjust equipment to produce high quality images.
• Use immobilization devices to obtain optimum views.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
• Process images and review for proper identification and quality control.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment.
• Complete forms and maintain records, logs, and reports.
• Perform office work including answering phone, obtaining information, and ordering supplies.
• Comply with all policies, standards, mandatory training, and requirements of Stormont Vail Health.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 6 months experience in at least one advanced modality.
• Minimum 3 months surgery experience.
• Preferred 2 years experience in a hospital/clinic.
• Radiography - ARRT required.
• Passage of at least one advanced modality (CT, NM, MRI, MG, US) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
