Kansas State University – College of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Clinical Sciences and Veterinary Health Center.

About the Role

Position at assistant, associate or full professor rank on tenure or clinical track. Provide multi-species clinical anesthesia, teach veterinary students, interns, residents, and graduate students, and pursue scholarly activity aligned with rank/track. Collaborate across perioperative, critical care, surgical services, and specialty services. Expected contributions to quality improvement, patient safety, and institutional service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide multi-species clinical anesthesia.
  • Teach veterinary students, interns, residents, and graduate students.
  • Pursue scholarly activity aligned with rank/track.
  • Collaborate across perioperative, critical care, surgical, and specialty services.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and institutional service.
Minimum Qualifications
  • DVM or equivalent degree.
  • Residency training in veterinary anesthesia (or eligibility for ACVAA exam preparation).
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical service, patient care, and clinical instruction (associate professor level).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Residency training in veterinary anesthesia.
  • Ability to pursue scholarly and teaching excellence.
Worksite & Eligibility

Position is on‑site. Employees must reside in the United States. No remote or hybrid work options are available for Idaho residents.

$130,000 – $200,000.
