About This Role
This position supports the routine and specialized care of hospitalized animals in the Veterinary Heath Center at Kansas State University by maintaining and ensuring a sanitary and safe environment for patients, faculty, staff, students, and visitors. At the discretion of clinicians and clinical staff, this position will tend to the feeding and general welfare of VHC clients. This position is responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of small animal areas and equipment of the hospital.
Ensure the small animal facilities meet federal, state, and VHC standards for cleanliness and sanitation.
This position is On-site. on-site
All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
What You'll Need to SucceedPreferred Qualifications:
- Experience with companion animals/exotics.
- One year of relevant experience.
- High school diploma.
