Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience for an inpatient position.

• Inpatient acute care unit with exposure to ICU, cardiopulmonary, acute neuro, post-op ortho, general surgery, and inpatient rehab cases
• Patient population includes acute stroke rehab, post-trauma, orthopedic, and medical deconditioning
• Average caseload of 4-8 evaluations and 4-8 treatments per day
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with one weekend rotation every other month
• Main responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of patients across multiple acute care and rehab specialties
• Dress code requires black scrubs
• All positions are auto offer
• Covid vaccination is not required
• Local candidates are accepted but are subject to a reduced pay rate based on facility radius policy

• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care PT experience required
• License required if applicable
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US address
• Copy of Driver’s License required for consideration
• Two professional references required
• Completion of skills checklist and submission of certifications required
