Job Brief

The Technology Support Generalist provides front‑line technical support for staff and/or students, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. This role supports daily technology operations, assists users with technology needs, and helps maintain reliable and secure systems across the organization.

• 12‑month position.
• 45‑day introductory period. Benefits begin after the introductory period, and leave can be used thereafter.
• Reports to Immediate Supervisor, District Technology Support Coordinator.

• Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software problems as part of the district computer technology support team.
• Pursue training and technical support to keep current on technology use, support, and implementation strategies.
• Provide technology support to district computer users under the direction of the Director of Technology in collaboration with the District Technology Support Coordinator.
• Deliver technology professional development classes to district staff.
• Deliver individual and small group training on computer use and applications to district staff.
• Work as a contributing member of the district Technology Team to plan for and implement computer use among all district staff.
• Willingness to learn about and support basic Microsoft and Network installation.
• Knowledge of Apple products (e.g., iPad, Macintosh systems) and other tablet devices preferred.
• Perform other duties as requested.

$48,500.00 – $54,000.00 annually.
