Job Brief
- Create a climate of health and well-being for USD 383 students and staff.
- Location:
Elementary Schools. - Salary: $12.00 – $15.00/hr.
- Hours Per Day: 8:45-3:45 (average 7.5 hours). Flexible based on building assignment.
Terms of Employment
- Positions available during the regular school year.
- New employees through a 45-day introductory period; benefits begin after this period.
- Reports To:
Head Nurse / School Administrator. - Performance evaluated annually per district policy.
Job Duties
- Collaborate with the supervising RN to implement health-related programs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and regimens prescribed by a licensed physician under RN supervision.
- Provision of minor first aid care.
- Communicate unusual student symptoms to RN for appropriate action.
- Notify parents of student illness symptoms and stay with student until parent arrives.
- Maintain health room log of all students seen and care disposition.
- Perform delegated procedures and other duties as assigned by RN.
