Job Brief

• Create a climate of health and well-being for USD 383 students and staff.
• Location:
  
  Elementary Schools.
• Salary: $12.00 – $15.00/hr.
• Hours Per Day: 8:45-3:45 (average 7.5 hours). Flexible based on building assignment.

Terms of Employment

• Positions available during the regular school year.
• New employees through a 45-day introductory period; benefits begin after this period.
• Reports To:
  
  Head Nurse / School Administrator.
• Performance evaluated annually per district policy.

Job Duties

• Collaborate with the supervising RN to implement health-related programs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and regimens prescribed by a licensed physician under RN supervision.
• Provision of minor first aid care.
• Communicate unusual student symptoms to RN for appropriate action.
• Notify parents of student illness symptoms and stay with student until parent arrives.
• Maintain health room log of all students seen and care disposition.
• Perform delegated procedures and other duties as assigned by RN.
