American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with strong orthopedic and sports medicine experience for a day-shift surgical hospital position with no weekends or call.

• Operating Room unit in a surgical hospital setting with 6 ORs, 4 of which are dedicated daily to orthopedics
• High-volume total joint replacement cases including knee, hip, shoulder, and ankle replacements
• Additional orthopedic sports medicine procedures including ACL repairs, shoulder scopes, rotator cuff repairs, and meniscal repairs
• Average of 25 cases performed per day
• Minimal vendor assistance requiring nurses to know instrumentation, setup, and workflow independently
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or call requirements

• Active RN license (KS or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Strong orthopedic and sports medicine surgical experience required
• Must be able to pull own cases, set up and turnover own rooms

• May assist sterile processing staff with instrument sterilization or assembling instrument sets
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
