Quality Assurance Assistant

Position Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Quality Assurance Assistant who will provide continuous support and assistance for the QA projects and the QA Manager.

• Regular worksite attendance.
• Maintain and manage QA records such as revision history of documents, registers for existing QA programs, and logs for daily quality checks.
• Updating food safety/quality procedures and assisting with implementation of documents.
• Assist with documenting and record keeping of existing products in the Approved Supplier Program and new products from Research and Development.
• Assist, participate, or conduct internal audits in close liaison with QA Manager.
• Prepare and review for approval from QA management, technical documents for manufacturing, R&D, and other food safety/quality related projects.
• Assist in analyzing data and map out fluctuations and changes.
• Overall daily duties related to maintaining general office procedures at the direction of management.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to set targets and work towards achieving daily, weekly, monthly goals.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate issues in a timely manner.
• Expert attention to detail and multitasking.
