Our client is seeking sonographers for their healthcare organization. This is a full‑time, salaried job opportunity.

Location:

Midtown, New York.

Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. No weekends or holidays. 37.5 hours per week.

Pay: $43.00 – $61.00 per hour (range based on experience / ARDMS credentials). Client reserves the right to make a salaried offer based on assessment of your skills.

Training will be provided. The client is invested in providing what you need to successfully support and succeed in this role.

• Localize and recognize difference between healthy and pathological areas.
• Judge whether images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
• Integrate diagnostic sonogram with patient history, medical records and laboratory results.
• Present and prepare preliminary ultrasound findings to attending physician for final report.
• Maintain log of ultrasound test findings.
• Assist the physician with patient care.
• Explain the procedure to the patient, record medical history as needed and prepare patient for testing.
• Collaboratively work with billing/secretarial staff regarding authorizations/charges.
• Provide coverage (vacation/sick day) at other sites as needed.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical program.
• Candidate must be RDMS or RDMS registry eligible. RDMS‑eligible graduates from CAAHEP accredited program must be registered in OB/GYN within 12 months of employment. ARDMS credentials must be maintained yearly.
• OB/GYN experience for a minimum of two (2) years.
• MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) experience for a minimum of two (2) years.
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment efficiently, evaluate sonogram to acquire diagnostic information, communicate diagnostic information to physicians.
