A Student Health Center is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Manhattan, New York.

Credentialing takes about one week. The schedule is two days per week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with flexibility on which days are worked. The provider will see 5-10 patients per day, primarily adults 17 and older, with most being older students. Required credentials include a New York license, DEA, and BLS. There is no support staff on site, so the provider must be comfortable performing vitals, labs, and blood draws in this low-volume setting.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with womens health and pap smears, is Medicaid-enrolled, and, while not required, Spanish language skills are preferred due to a large Hispanic patient population.
