As part of the ZINKPOWER KOPF Group, we are currently building a new galvanizing plant in Turgutlu (Manisa), which is scheduled to go into operation in the first quarter of 2027. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Plant Manager to lead the site from the construction and commissioning phases through to its long-term successful management.

• Full responsibility for the Turgutlu plant: production, quality, schedule, cost, personnel and occupational safety
• Building and leading the production and administrative workforce; shift organization
• Securing production output and quality in line with ZINKPOWER standards and TS EN ISO 1461
• Responsibility for HSE and energy management (IMS / ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 / 50001)
• Management of maintenance and preventive maintenance (kettle, pretreatment, cranes, filter)
• Interface with customers, suppliers, public authorities and the OSB
• Budget responsibility and monthly reporting to the General Manager
• During the construction phase: active involvement in construction supervision, equipment acceptance and commissioning
• Personnel selection and development; building the management layer below the Plant Manager

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in production (mandatory); metal industry and heavy industry preferred; hot-dip galvanizing experience is a strong plus
• Minimum of 5 years of disciplinary personnel responsibility in shift operation
• Practical knowledge of Turkish labour law, SGK and Occupational Health and Safety legislation (Law 6331)
• Familiarity with OSB, municipal, environmental, labour and tax authority processes
• Native-level Turkish;
  English at minimum B2 (correspondence with European suppliers and Headquarters)
• Engineering degree preferred (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials, Chemical, Civil or similar)
• Strong technical understanding of production, mechanical and construction matters
• Hands‑on leadership style; direct contact with shift leaders and shop floor
• Ability to act independently in day‑to‑day operations without escalating minor issues
• Clear and direct communication; cultural sensitivity in the Turkish industrial environment
• Resilience in a 24/7 industrial environment; no 9‑to‑5 mindset
• Proactive reporting to the General Manager: brief, solution‑oriented, no surprises
• Willingness to relocate to and live in İzmir, Manisa or Turgutlu (mandatory)
• Long‑term commitment; intention to lead the plant for at least 5 years

• Direct reporting line to the General Manager
• The opportunity to set up a greenfield investment from scratch
