Position Title:

Accounts Payable Accountant
Wage: $24.00 - $25.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

8:00am - 4:00pm

Manitowoc, WI

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Accountant at a company in Manitowoc, WI. This is a temporary position for 1st shift.

• Process invoices and post business transactions
• Verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process weekly check, ACH, and virtual card payment run
• Resolve payables-related issues with internal and external stakeholders
• Reconcile GR-IR account to ensure all invoices are processed timely
• Maintain account ledgers and assisting in monthly closing
• Track and pay sales and use tax
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Process annual 1099
• File RE & PP returns
• Work with various stakeholders to improve AP process, controls & analysis

• Associate’s degree in accounting
• SAP experience preferred but not required
• Open Text experience preferred but not required
• Analytical skills
• Detail oriented and organized
• Computation skills
• Written and oral communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, prolong sit, or lift up to 10lb as needed
