Associate General Dentist

* Job Summary
* We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate General Dentist to join our long standing, proven dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education, in a welcoming environment.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilize advanced clinical skills while delivering exceptional patient care across diverse dental procedures. The position requires proficiency in general dentistry with some experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental imaging. Familiarity with Dentrix dental software would be helpful. This positions offers a lot of room to grow within our private, patient focused, fee for service practice.

We operate in the smaller community and thrive on making connections with our patients and between our staff. The candidate would be working alongside one other general dentist. We are open to part-time or full-time candidates.

* Duties
* * Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments using medical and dental terminology

* Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans

* Conduct a wide range of procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and fixed and removable prosthodontics.

* Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort

* Take and interpret imaging to support diagnosis and treatment planning

* Maintain accurate dental records and document all patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA standards

* Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care

* Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques

* Collaborate with dental team members to deliver seamless patient care

* Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and digital dentistry.

* Requirements
* * Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution

* Valid state dental license to practice as an Associate General Dentist

* Experience in general dentistry; some experience in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, or prosthodontics is a plus

* Proficiency with Dentrix dental practice management software is a plus

* Strong knowledge of medical and dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and dental imaging techniques

* Ability to perform crown and bridge, removable prosthodontics, routine dental extractions, anterior root canal therapy, and other complex procedures with precision

* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively

* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality

* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating professionalism and compassion
