Accounting Manager, Accounting & Finance
The Accounting Manager develops, implements, and maintains the financial accounting systems which provides for (a) the control of the credit union’s assets, and (b) the maintenance of a financial database to be used as input to various financial schedules, statements, reports, and analysis. Ensures that all credit union financial policies and procedures are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

RequirementsExperience
Financial accounting experience and understanding of GAAP required. Prior supervisory and mentoring/coaching experience of 3-5 years.
Education/Certifications/LicensesBachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent 5-7 years related financial experience. CPA license and/or AAP certification a plus.
Interpersonal SkillsAbility to understand and follow written and oral instructions. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Other SkillsKnowledge of activities of financial institutions and the required accounting treatment and reconciliation procedures of those activities. Proficiency in computer applications and spreadsheets; ability to learn new programs. Must have the ability to work in a professional manner. Must be able to work quickly and accurately.
