Founded in 1935, the company is the manufacturer of the finest corrosion control coatings available, serving customers worldwide.

Job Description

WEG is seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources leader to join our team. This role involves managing all facets of human resources related functions and activities, and leading integration activities to ensure a smooth transition following our recent acquisition. The successful candidate will oversee HR operations, employee relations, and promote a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the HR integration requirements supporting the recent acquisition, including data cleansing, liaison for benefit and payroll migration, and managing the transition of employment such as off‑boarding/on‑boarding.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Foster a positive work environment, communication, and culture within Heresite.
  • Collaborate with broader HR teams in the U.S. and Brazil HQ.
  • Handle employee complaints, grievances, and disputes.
  • Ensure the organization complies with all employment laws, regulations, and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Prepare and present HR reports and metrics to management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resource role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Thorough understanding of operational personnel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Savvy HRIS skills;
    Paylocity experience a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
