Position Summary
As a Utility, you will have flexible assignments based on daily need: shipping, plating and assembly.
Responsibilities- Setting up, operating and performing minor maintenance on the parts washing machine
- Adding chemicals and water to parts washer tanks to produce clean parts
- Setting up and operating Rack and Barrel Plating lines
- Accurately counting & identifying materials throughout the Materials area
- Interfacing work between all departments and handling & processing materials into and out of the area
- Operating all equipment in the Materials area including PITs, scales, hoists, etc.
- Setting up, adjusting and operating all secondary machining equipment (lathes, burr bench, centerless grind, facer)
- Previous similar experience preferred
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Good basic math skills
- Good computer skills
