• Conduct maintenance work requiring moderate skill levels on all associate equipment on a packaging line, including mixing operation
• Lubricate, adjust, and clean packaging machine
• Maintain and set up machinery on the packaging line
• Examine poly to ensure that the correct poly is being applied to the designated product and lot
• Examine the cartons to ensure that the cartons are printing according to buyer’s specifications
• Maintain proper palletizing of the finished cases using slip sheets when necessary
• Inspect and compare pallet tickets against pallet load to ensure accuracy
• Responsible for all line reporting by computer or paper
• Supervise the line personnel on their respective line
• Assist in training new line employees and/or new machine operators
• Responsible for work accomplished by the personnel in the Frozen Packaging Department
• Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures
• May perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Previous quality control experience (preferred)
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math function
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Ability to maintain proper confidentiality of sensitive information
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs
• Safety mindset
