  • Team Lead - Shift Lead
  • $25 an hour
  • 2nd shift hours = 2:45pm to 11:00pm Monday through Friday

This is a great full-time, temp to hire opportunity if you have 2-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience and light mechanical ability.


Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

  • Direct/coach/mentor assigned assembly team to assist in meeting performance metrics.
  • Responsible for safety, quality, service (delivery), and cost (OEE, scrap, and labor.)
  • Develop, maintain, and improve pre and postproduction checklists detailing steps to startup, run, and shutdown of line.
  • Visual confirmation of items by position at line start up.
  • Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot machines.
  • Perform quality checks in production per QC paperwork. Note trends in variation and take corrective and preventative actions.
  • Clean and sanitize work area, setup (changeover), and start production.
  • Maintain the master downtime for the team.
  • 5S work area (end of shift and end of week deep cleaning.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance on filler area equipment and conveyors.
  • Shutdown equipment at end of shift.
  • Cross train with material handlers.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

    • Previous experience in a leadership role required, preferably in manufacturing
    • High school diploma or equivalent experience
    • Proficient in basic math.
    • Helpful to have some Assembly experience
