Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Bay Care Clinic in Manitowocis looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Manitowoc, WI.We’re looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.
-5:00 p.m.No Holidays! No Weekends!
The Clinic:
Bay Care Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 19 specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. The Practice:
Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is a rapidly growing, high-volume practice, providing expert care while offering diagnoses, treatment and rehabilitation for bone, joint and connective tissue disorders. Located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin across from Lake Michigan, our new state of the art facility has dedicated procedure rooms, diagnostic imaging, regenerative medicine, and multiple treatment options for all.

The Job:
- Responds to employee/employer needs regarding patient work-injuries.
- Responsible for continuous monitoring of patient clinical outcomes, assessment of action plans, implementation of quality improvement initiatives and reporting progress.
- Performs assessments as appropriate.
- Directs test results to physicians for review.
- Accurately documents assessment of information including patient needs.
- Determines priority of patient needs based on history and current symptoms.
- Coordinates and evaluates the appropriate patient plan of care with physician.
- Ensures the plan of care is consistent and individualized to each patient, is evaluated in a consistent and timely manner, is properly documented and is updated as patient needs change.
- Educates family members in plan of care for patients.
- Ensures physician orders are transcribed, executed and documented appropriately.
- Schedules and carries out patient follow up calls when appropriate and returns patient phone calls in a timely manner.
- Provides patient education as needed.
- Assists inminor in-office procedures.
- Additional duties as assigned.
The Requirements:
- Must hold a valid RN license to practice in the state where practice occurs.
- New grads encouraged to apply!
- Quality Improvement experience preferred.
- Safety and Prevention experience preferred.
- EPIC experience is preferred.
